Biography
Kris Waldin was born in Christchurch, New Zealand, in 1971 and studied art and design at Christchurch Polytechnic, graduating in 1992 with a diploma of Visual Communications. She has since worked as a graphic designer and illustrator along with some time away travelling, based in London and Edinburgh returning home along the Silk Route through Turkey, Iran, Pakistan and China.
On returning from overseas Kris setup a freelance design business Red Pepper Design and began painting part-time in 2007. Kris has been painting fulltime for the past 4-5 years predominantly working in acrylics and watercolour, as well as drawing in pencil, charcoal and pastel.
